6x9 sm is the standard dimension of calendars. On one side of them there are numbers and mounths. We create the history of our life by supporting on theirs unerring data and often we do not notice than there is another history on theirs other side. This is history of country showed in pictures 6x9 sm.
This story is about calendars in Russia during last 25 years from 1973 to 1996. The topics of calendars at this period of time changed like the Russian life changed too.


At this period the calendars reflect the most considerable events, for example, greate dates. They show the people life in USSR that communist party want to see it. Calendars' design is primitive but the slogans on calendars are large.
1973. Calendar is devoted to the anniversary of USSR: the 50 ages. There are falgs of 15 soviet republic on the picture. This picture is devoted to census of population at 17-24 January 1979.

In 1980 the calendar series was published for Summer Olympic Games in Moscow. Pictures showed the different kinds of sport and the Bear been the symbol of this Games.

In beginning of 80-th it was very difficult to find foreign things in USSR. In shops there are only things from soviet producers. So why than two calendars with non-russian language inscription were the treasure of my collection. 1984.
